welcomed by beautiful images of dubai

On Monday May 19th 2014, to celebrate the UAE launch of its new Tonda Metro collection, Parmigiani Fleurier hosted the opening of a unique photography exhibition in Dubai,in partnership with the Empty Quarter Gallery.

Named “A City in Time” due to its urban theme, the exhibition showcases 24 exclusive images from Gulf-based photographers Sarah Abudawood, Al Moutasim Al Maskery, Daniel Cheong and Alisdair Miller, alongside timepieces of the Metro collection, unveiled for the first time in the Middle East. The Empty Quarter Gallery was selected as venue and partner for the launch, being the only gallery in the Middle East that is entirely dedicated to photography.

The opening event started with a press preview, and the chance for media to meet Parmigiani Fleurier CEO Jean-Marc Jacot, as well as the four artists presenting their artwork to the public. An open photobooth allowed guests to create lasting memories of the event. In the evening, a cocktail party welcomed local partners, retailers and customers to discover the new collection, available at Damas stores in Dubai and Mohammed Rasool Khoory boutiques in Abu Dhabi. “A City in Time” is open to the public until early June, in DIFC Gate Village, Dubai.
